盤口型って言うのは、歴史的に文化移管を示した生き証人でもあるのです。盤口型は中国がスタートで、恐らく、14，15世紀に中国からタイに伝わったことがこの壷で解るのです。
タイでこの類のモノを探し出すのは非常に難しく、もしあっても、首のところに修復があることが多いのです。 「ひっつき」があるものの、本品は完品で「ひっつき」があっても景色になります。お茶席の一輪挿しにも最適かと思われます。
